If you are a counselor with a Masters degree who is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and you want to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), you need 3,360 total supervised hours. You cannot open a private practice until you have your LCPC, so it is wise for you to move ahead getting supervision.
I will meet with you to explore ways that you can gain those 3,360 hours. This first exploration meeting is free. I can offer you supervision for $50-$20 per hour, depending on your financial circumstances. You will need 1 hour of supervision for every 37.5 hours of counseling. Your hours can be volunteer hours, paid hours, and hours in a variety of settings.
I am currently a Clinical Coordinator at Northeastern Illinois University, and I am familiar with the licensing process. I will be happy to talk through your individual situation with you.
Supervision can be individual or group.
